We went walking at one of the local Metroparks out near my parents' house. The kids both enjoyed the birds, fresh air and random turtles.

Summer's playdate with Desiree

This is Summer's friend, Desiree. Summer has been talking about her since school began. We are pretty sure she's one of Summer's favorite people at school. We FINALLY made time for a playdate and Summer was in heaven! Here's some of the fun we had!

So, River decided he really wanted to wear Summer's ruby slippers one day. We think its extra cute to see, since we hadn't dressed him yet!


The next day, the little man decided he wanted to put on her little half sweater she likes. Plus, he grabbed her jump rope-- we think he really wants to be like Summer. This was all able to be done, of course, because she was at school and didn't know!

We spent Easter morning and the egg hunt at Pop's house the day after witnessing Jessie, Abby and little Clayton's baptism and fullfledged acceptance into the catholic church in Cazenovia.

River LOVES his new bunny-- he sleeps with it every night. He's always liked his blankies, but this is the first animal he's shown any attachment to.

We did a little belly dancing.


We celebrated Mitch, Fred and Clayton's birthdays since they all have them within a week of each other.
We played some instruments.
We looked at the fish and turtle.
We snuggled.
And generally had a great time!!
