We all scream for ice cream!

Pop gifted Summer an ice cream maker for her birthday and we tried it out the other day. The ice cream was phenomenal! We all enjoyed it, thanks Pop!

Summer's 5th birthday morning

Summer shows us how old she is now, before tearing into her presents from mom, dad and River.

As we expected, the stuffed Scooby-doo won at as her favorite present. I believe she has spent every day since sleepign with him at night, talking to him and having him talk back to her and taking him everywhere we go.

Summer shows off her birthday pancakes with whipped cream and chocolate chips. We had a really nice day with her. Clayton took the morning off to spend time with her. We let her open gifts before breakfast, did the pancake thing, played and then went to Friendly's for lunch where they sang her "Happy Birthday" and she blew out the candle on top of her sunday. Then, she and I got prepared for her party by making the party bags and Scooby-doo chocolate bars to go in them. She really had a good day!
