Our 2 month old River flirts with the fan

River loves the fan in our living room. He gives it more smiles than he does to us. He also talks to it more! We've decided the fan is his best friend. Its even stopped him from crying a few times.

r friends from Rockville came to visit this Sunday and to meet River for the first time. They just had their little one, Elsie, about 6 months ago. So now Summer and River have a friend for when we get together! Summer and Gwen really enjoyed each other's company!

Pop visits for the weekend

Everyone was excited to see Pop this weekend! He came up for a short visit with the grandkids... oh, and us!

Sweet sleeping baby

River has been changing in the last week. He is now making little baby noises rather than infant noises. He recognizes us, especially his sister, and lights up with a huge smile any time he's awake. He loves the little baby games we play with him, Summer loves them too! He's starting to show some preference for mom, but that's to be expected from a nursing baby. He's still a noisy baby and is constantly making some sort of noise at all times- awake, asleep, nursing. He seems to be having a love affair with the fan in the living room-- he's just as flirty with it as he is with us:)
