River and Summer update

Welp, one of River's top 2 teeth have broken through the gums! Both are coming in at the same time, but only one has broken through to freedom. Little man's been grumpier than usual and nursing like crazy this week and looking in his mouth a few days ago explained why. I could see both right below the gums, poor boy. So, hopefully the other will quickly follow suit and he'll be on the road to goodness with no more pain from them. I, on the other hand, am a bit scared of those new sharp chompers of his!

River has a few games he now enjoys playing. He likes to breath quickly and loudly through his nose at you and have you go back and forth with him, copying him. You can start up the game with him by doing it yourself-- he LOVES it! He gets a big smile on his face and then breaths all hard through his nose-- silly boy! He also likes to repeat what you say. He can say "ma, ma, ma" or "da, da, da" really well. He loikes to say, "momma" when he really wants to nurse or just wants to be held. He asks for things by waving his hands back and forth quickly. He's also a pro at feeding himself anymore-- our newest thing is to get him not to shove so much food into his mouth at once! He's still not crawling yet, but showing awesome signs of progress and rolling his way around a bit.

Summer's T-ball was cancelled this week due to rain. And the redheaded twins from down the street just showed up to play with her, so I'm sure she's in bliss! She has had a pretty good week at school and can't wait for the weather to warm up so she can go in the pool again.
