Antique Car Show

We took the kids to an antique car show on Sunday at Look Park. River REALLY liked all the cars! He hopes to have one of these at some point. We enjoyed all the neat cars as well and Summer was a pretty good sport about it all. Afterwards, we enjoyed some homemade ice cream they had available. Then, we ran into one of our neighbors whose daughter just went off to college and she asked if we wanted to adopt her daughter's dwarf hamster. We agreed to a new family member and let it be Summer's. She's named him "Hame" (pronounced: hammy). And she's totally in love and excited about him. He's a cute little guy and we've had some very serious talks about hamster safety with the cats living in the house as well.
