River...

River is an official 9 month old! He celebrated by going to Look Park and hanging out with about 15 other babies who have recently or will soon turn one! He has a whopping 6 teeth- going on 8, as the bottom 2 each have a tooth next to them just under the surface-- making him teeth like crazy once again! His favorite things are bathtime, throwing a ball and crawling after it, his sister, his mom, his dad, nursing, eating, swinging on a swing, his sister's Cinderalla play cell phone, our keyboard, and drumming on anything and everything! He is the sweetest thing, very snuggly at all times. He is easy to make smile, but you need to do a little work to get him to laugh. He is happy to sit and play on the floor, but gets nervous if mom isn't within sight. He naps well, sleeps well (most of the time), and is just a very easy personality. He has only picked up the sign for "nursing", but is very animated and able to tell us other things that he wants through grunting, hand waving, and eye contact. We are blessed with this little man and are so happy he's with us!

River wears his 'Gabe' shirt. Gabe didn't give it to him, we just call it that because it reminds Clayt and I of shirts Gabriel likes to wear.
