Summer learns to ride her bike...

...in a skirt, no less!
We inherited this bike from our old neighbors in Somerville. She hadn't had a chance to use it yet and we hadn't gotten any training wheels. Well, one of our neighbors here was done with theirs and gave them to us, so now Summer is learning to ride a two-wheeler! She is VERY proud of herself and is learning to get going pretty fast! She doesn't like to brake though. She prefers to put her feet down on the ground. I'll get a video of her pedaling soon for you all!


River's her biggest fan in ALL things!

This boy had his 6 month checkup today (yes, I know he's 7 1/2 months old!). Anyway, little man weighs in at 17 lbs. 14 ozs.! His head has dropped from the 90th percentile to the 75th, so he's finally growing into it! He's still steady at 50th percentile for height and weight, right where he should be. He is SOOO close to crawling, but still not managing to keep those arms up, so he often ends up face diving onto the floor, or bed, or couch, or one of us....
